Assessment from Der Loopmeister:

• Dec. 25: Three games in & Bagman maintains his lead. But we've only just begun!
• Dec. 28: Six games in and Elmarco edges Running Wild for the lead with Bagman dropping to third and The Mustang in the fourth spot. Nappy is fifth, Wildcat sixth, Harald the Brave seventh and W.T. Hatch & Turncoat are tied for the last spot.
• Dec. 29: The lead switches as Running Wild now takes a 1-point lead over Elmarco after eight games as The Mustang takes the No. 3 spot, followed by Bagman (4th), then Nappy (5th) and then Wildcat (6th). The Navy man (7th), the Brave One (8th) & Turncoat (regaining 9th) round out the field. On the points lost side, Turncoat, The Mustang and Elmarco rank 1-2-3.
• Dec. 30: The Mustang takes over first with Running Wild just behind as Elmarco drops to third. Bagman clings to fourth, Nappy has fifth and W.T. Haatch and Wildcat are tied for sixth, just 53 points behind the leader. Finally, Turncoat gets oout of the cellar, ceding that spot to Harald the Brave. Two big days coming up; nine games, gang -- it's make or break time!!
• Dec. 31: Halfway through the "battle of the bulge," it's Running Wild out front, followed by Elmarco and Bagman, with The Mustang at No. 4. Then come W.T., Wildcat and Nappy for 5-6-7, while Turncoat and the Brave One own the cellar.
• Jan. 1: Were "over the hill" now & Running Wild maintains his lead while The Mustang takes over second, Bagman remains at No. 3 & Elmarco drops to fourth. W.T., Nappy & the Brave One are at 5-6-7 while Wildcat drops toNo. 8 & Turncoat regains his favored position at the bottom.
• Jan. 2: With two of yesterday's five games decided by one point or less, Running Wild is still running away with things as The Mustang is in second, Bagman third, while W.T. is fourth and Turncoat jumps to fifth, just ahead of Elmarco. That leaves Nappy, Harald the Brave and Wildcat as 7-8-9.
• Jan. 5: The Tech loss discombobulated your Webmeister, but no, with four games to go, no change in the top four, though Bagman nips at The Mustang's heels. Wildcat jumps to No. 5, Nappy moves to No. 6, Turncoat and Harald the Brave are tied for seventh & poor old (emphasis on "old") Elmarco drops to the bottom.
• Jan 7: Running Wild hangs in there, as Bagman nips The Mustang for second place. Hatch is fourth, Nappy fifth, Wildcat sinks to sixth as K State fails (what happened to truth, justice, motherhood and the superiority of Big Twelve football?!?). Harald nips Turncoat for No. 7 & Elmarco remains in the hole. The next three games will tell the tale!
• Jan. 8: Only two switches in the standings: The Mustang is now No. 2, Bagman No. 3; & Elmarco is No. 8, putting Turncoat to the bottom.
• Jan. 9: Down to the stretch, it's Running Wild, The Mustang & Bagman for 1-2-3, followed by W.T., Nappy, Harald the Brave, Wildcat, Elmarco & then Turncoat. Tongight will tell the tale!
• Jan. 10: No change as Running Wild, The Mustang & Bagman finish 1-2-3 in the money (with No.s 4-5-6 just a point apart but well out of the money). Note: In checking things out (& adding 16 times), your Loopmeister discovered (1) some data entry errors (which have been corrected) & (2) some of you put the same number on more than one team (& left out one or more numbers)! To adjust at this late date, if, for instance, you had two 18's & no 20, I assigned 18 to the first team that got that number & then put 20 on the second No. 18. Though it changed some of the totals, it didn't affect the money standings. Good luck to all next year!
