February 21, 2001 Hello everybody! Just an update from Mary's note below. She is doing very well, walking fine & pestering me just about as much as usual. Seems to be getting better every day, for which we are truly thankful. This has been quite an experience! -- Larry *** January 13, 2001 What a Way to Start the New Year! Hi! Well, it has been a little over two weeks since my "lobotomy" and I am finally starting to get rid of my tiredness. The operation (to remove a benign brain tumor) left me without complete sensation in my right foot and leg. Yes, I can move my toes and leg easily and can walk, which is a blessing. (Haven't tried dancing a jig yet!) Everything else is working fine. My hair is growing back rapidly and I am sure by spring I will be able to go out without some kind of covering. I know I have been lax in thanking all my family and friends for their prayers and support. This whole things has been quite a shock! I am not happy about the loss of sensation in my right leg, but the doctor says it could come back or not. Time will tell. Continue your prayers for a little longer would you. Thanks again for thinking of me! Love, Mary
