Our new grandson:

SarEl ben-David Nelson!

7/27/01: Born 6:40 p.m. Tiberias time (11:40 a.m. EDT) on July 27, 2001. Weight = 3.25 kg (7 lb. 2 oz). Hair blond, eyes blue. Mother and baby doing fine!

Our grandson's first name is actually from two Hebrew words -- "Sar" meaning prince or minister and "El" meaning God. His middle name is ben-David -- literally "son of David." Cindy is providing more details in a birth announcement posted here on the Web.
